Churches
Church architecture has evolved over the last thousand years of the Christian religion, partly by innovation and partly by imitating other architectural styles.
The Saxon and Norman periods where the churches tended to be smaller and plainer. Through The Middle Ages with many different styles emerging, and gradually becoming more ornate and with the wider use of stained glass windows.
New churches continued to be built in the 20th century in the modernist and later Brutalist styles.
Taking a good photograph inside a church can be very challenging, with areas of bright light and areas that can be very dark.
